Resumen
El habla interna es una experiencia común a todos los seres humanos; sin embargo, hay actualmente pocas formas de estudiarla, y menos aún en nuestro país. Es por ello que el propósito principal del presente estudio fue traducir al español y confirmar la estructura factorial de la versión revisada de la Varieties of Inner Speech Questionnaire en una muestra mexicana. Para dicho propósito, un total de 300 personas, con edades de 18 años en adelante completaron dicha versión abreviada. Los resultados mostraron que los índices de ajuste del modelo fueron adecuados para la misma, además de que muestra adecuadas propiedades psicométricas de confiabilidad. Se proponen algunas vías futuras de estudio para el campo de la psicopatología y la autorregulación, como la metacognición y el funcionamiento ejecutivo.
