Resumen

Se ha descrito la flexibilidad psicológica como uno de los factores protectores más importantes para la salud mental ante la pandemia de covid. El Cuestionario de Aceptación y Acción-II (AAQ-II) es el instrumento más ampliamente empleado en la evaluación de la flexibilidad psicológica y del proceso de cambio en las intervenciones para promoverla, principalmente la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso (ACT). Se han desarrollado numerosas adaptaciones y traducciones del instrumento a circunstancias clínicas y no clínicas particulares, pero no se tiene conocimiento de uno que explore específicamente la flexibilidad psicológica ante la pandemia de covid, debido a lo cual en el presente estudio se llevó a cabo la fase piloto del desarrollo del Cuestionario de Aceptación y Acción ante la Pandemia de Covid-19 (AAQ-COVID), un instrumento que valora el constructo unidimensional de flexibilidad psicológica, el cual consta de diez reactivos que se evalúan en una escala Likert de cinco opciones de respuesta. Empleando una muestra no clínica por conveniencia de 36 adultos en un rango de edad de 42 a 76 años, se concluye que tales reactivos tienen poder discriminatorio. Se discuten los cuidados metodológicos en el desarrollo y piloteo de los reactivos de instrumentos adaptados a contextos específicos.
