Propiedades psicométricas de la Prueba Breve de Funcionamiento (FAST) en pacientes con diagnóstico de trastorno bipolar en México

Resumen

El objetivo del presente estudio fue adaptar y validar la Prueba Breve de Funcionamiento en pacientes con diagnóstico de trastorno bipolar. Participaron 44 personas con el trastorno y 43 con salud mental, quienes respondieron un cuestionario de datos sociodemográficos, la FAST y la Escala de Evaluación de la Actividad Global. Se analizaron la estructura factorial, la consistencia interna, la validez concurrente y discriminante del citado instrumento. Los resultados indican que la versión mexicana de la FAST es un instrumento de fácil aplicación, que requiere poco tiempo de administración y que tiene propiedades psicométricas satisfactorias para evaluar el funcionamiento de pacientes con tal diagnóstico.
